Fell in love with this 55 last summer at Mission raceway. Ran hard too

 

Sweet little 55 we spied at a local car show last summer. All the right period speed parts

 

My son just found this o ne that was stored for 15 years. The guy blew the motor & parked it. It'll be for sale as soon as he gets the title. Got the title, $24,500 or best offer.

@65pacecar this green 55 is killer. Did you get a good look at it?

 

He was leaving, but I imagine he will be a regular. I'll grab a few more next time if I can. Love the setup.

 

Bet he's pissed off a few Nomad owners with that fender/door trim!

 

I like the paint scheme he went with just doing the roof in the light color vs roof and side line like most two tone cars. Makes me curious to see what my 56 would look like with all sherwood green on the side and just the pine crest on the roof. I also like the profile he went with on the rear wheel well. Nice contour vs just a round cut out. Ya if you get a chance to take more pics that would be great.
