@enloe - I'm diggin' the Ditch Digger! The SEG guys have it going on, nice trailers, golf carts, the whole operation for travelling to the races.

The 372 sounds like a 400 sbc block with a 350 crank and bearing spacers.....

@anthony myrick - that 210 looks so right. Pop the caps and instant custom. Light colors and black steelies go together like milk & cookies. Shaved trunk and front fender scripts, too.

    ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY!
Yep, 1970/71, the first thing I did to my 57 was take off the hubcaps.
    Then things went sideways!

@DDDenny Your '57 represented many ''street'' cars. The '55 I'm working on might get the mild treatment. It takes restraint to keep mags off of 'em.

    My restraint was short-lived.
A cl***mate of mine was friends with our local funny car hero who was sponsored by Cragar. I asked him to inquire about getting a deal on some 14x7 Cragar SS wheels, I asked a few days later if he got a price and he said he hadn't, said I'll never get a better deal, a week later they showed up, $75.00/set of 4.
I've made much worse decisions as an adult.

I like this. I've been thinking about banging out a quickie paint job on my '57, it was painted white by the high school kids who had it last in (I'm guessing) the late 70's, and it's pretty easy and cheap to do a white paint job, but I wasn't sure if I'd like white. This '55 looks pretty good though.

@Squablow - I will totally advocate for white paint on your '57!
