There’s a pattern that’s developed here lately. It goes a little like this.

Have you heard this story of the Tri Five
    Race
When Gassers and Customs was settin' the pace.
    That story is true,
    I'm here to say
    I was drivin' that Chevrolet.

  8. One you probably never heard of. We bought this '56 several years ago for my wife to drive. Was a concourse winner the year before. Look closely you will see something strange. It is the length of a two door hardtop but it's a 4dr! Called a Sport Hardtop Sedan. Unfortunately I never took a side shot when we owned it but I think you can see the difference?

All 55-57 Chevys are the same length. 2 door hardtop, 4 door, even delivery and wagon, all the same length.

I had to walk away from a conversation that the hard tops were longer. This person based his argument on the cat walk being deeper.

  17. When I was in my early thirties, I loved the black and silver version with bubble skirts. At nearly 51, I actually think this version was the best.... and I don't usually like red cars

Getting a few around town miles on the 55. Few little things still to take care of.
