Not many made, the conversion cost more than $1000 over the cost of a Bel Air.

Three axle open trailer, don't think I've seen that, at least not in the early days.

 

DDDenny, Back when I lived in Portland OR, maybe 25 years ago, there was a guy from Washington driving a black 80's something El Camino around Portland with American 5 spokes. He would be towing a really sharp black 3 axle trailer with chrome fenders, and 6 American 5 spokes on the trailer. I don't remember him ever having a car on the trailer. I wonder if Marty Strode remembers that guy?
