I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've seen a Tri-Five Chevrolet converted BACK to stock front suspension after having an axle under the front. And I know your story's true, we can see the rearward spring mounts still welded in; what happened to the fronts, or was the stock front cut off, stubs installed, later removed, and the stock front end welded back in? That's a lot of work! I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

This 56 4dr ht looks lowered to me, compare it to the 55 next to it, pretty cool

You're right, again. That was the two-tone color with dusk pearl. The only other color Imperial Ivory was mated with was Inca Silver.

Dang I like the smooth quarters on those 150's. '55 also, plus Nomads that year.

Slow moving on my '55. Been picking up some parts here and there. Put new foam in the front seat but still running the original cover. Foam had been reduced to a texture of corn meal, **** was everywhere.
New seat covers will have to wait although original door and side panels are fine. Did get new carpet, thought some would get a kick out of seeing the floor in this thing. Zero rust. Still wearing the original sound deadening material. Lousy shot of the headliner, but it'll stay too.
Stray wire is from po install of elec fuel pump.
