Sorry for the blurry pics. This is the Hustlers Car Club D/Gas 55 built in the mid 60's in Glendive, MT.

 

I have a few to post. These are from the late 60's early 70's. They are from the two tracks I frequented in my misspent youth. Thunder Valley Dragways in Marion SD., and Cornhusker Raceway Park in Nebraska.

 

Time spent at the track is never misspent.

 

This look's an awful lot like Ohio George's car... Did he have a hand in building it?

 

Part II. More photos and a comment about the state of our hobby/lifestyle. The last two photos show the level of participation that we will never see again. I met a young man Saturday, who's desire is to build, restore old cars. He is the son of my wife's friend and was so excited to show me photos on his phone of his dream car. My son and I are going to include him, next year at some car related events. If you meet someone who shows an interest, nurture that interest with some of your time. End of the sermon.

 

I'd hate to change the sparkplugs in that. Reversed Corvair steering box.
