Enloe, thank you man for posting! That is some good stuff. Apparently I need to move back east because it would appear that is where all the fun is! [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G550T using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
From the finals of Drag Week today. There are more pics on the thread that is linked in my signature.
A couple of things, Loudbang. Thanks for posting the pic of Tony Christian's "Stroker". I've been a definite fan of his for a long time. Also, when I read the term "street freak" I think of the "Ground Pounder" '55 sedan (not post). I saw that picture sometime back around 1968, maybe it was in a HOT ROD annual or something by Car Craft, but there was also a sky high 62-64 Chevy II. Amazing how something like that can stick with you for fifty years. Again, thanks.
Not really a Gasser, but man it’s cool! And those are class winner stickers on the window....she ain’t much to look at..but man she moves
Yes that was it in late 1961 or early 1962. It ended up looking like this before the Willys came along a few months later. Unfortunately, it met it's end in a towing accident in August 1962. My apologies if this is a re-post. I think some of these may be on here already.
