The Bacon Hauler was built and owned by Sam and Mike Fuller. Their shop or the car caught on fire and burnt to the ground. Last time I saw it the remains were in a ditch on the family farm back in the early 1980’s? Sad ending to a cool car.

I wonder when that shot of Shake Rattle & Run was taken since both King Speed Shop and Grand Automotive are both long gone. King Speed Shop held on at least until the late '80s, possibly into the early '90s, I'm not sure. Grand Automotive was my go to spot.
I would guess that picture is late 70's to mid 80's. By the late 80's Shake Rattle and Run was more pro mod then gasser. That looks like US-30. Didn't that close in 84 or 85?
I believe that track is 30. The last time I was there was in '84 to see The Hawaiian, Chi-Town Hustler, John Force in a Corvette bodied F/C, Tom Hoover and even Garlits. In the early to mid '90s Shake Rattle and Run was a full-on Pro Mod.
^^^What's the classification on this 55?^^^ Is it a European/Australian/New Zealand car and class? I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
