Hot Rods Tri Power, 350 Chev in '41 Ford. No place for coil???

    How about inside the car - on a bracket under the
    dash somewhere, or mounted on 'interior side' of
    the firewall??? You could drill a small hole (or use
    an existing one. already in the firewall) to run the
    high-tension lead from the coil to the distributor
    cap. Just be sure and use a grommet on the wire
    where it p***es through the firewall to protect it
    and keep it from from getting cut or chafed.

    Thanks but I have made up my mind that I will not drill any holes in the firewall after I welded all the holes and re painted it along with the rest of the sheet metal.
    In my Accell spark plug wire box I found out that the coil wire is 36" long and that will be enough to mount the coil over on one of the inner fender panels.
