On the same line of thinking as putting a sock in your shorts hoping to impress the gals at the dance hall on Saturday night only to be the town laughing stock on Sunday morning.

It might impress the mouth breather brigade but you are going to get more point and laugh attention than oh wow attention from real hot rodders.

 

To increase the "street cred" it needs a 4"plus carb spacer between the Intake and the Adaptor

Mounted on top of a single 4 tunnel ram with the spacer in between, will get the "wannabes" s****ing in their pants

 

I say if you want to run it then run it, **** the naysayers, sometimes this stuff has to be about what you want, if it makes you happy and gets you out driving an old car then do it.

 

I think it’s kind of funny- carb adaptors are bad unless it was built in 1952. They either all **** or none do. It was the same then as it is now- it can be useful in situations where nothing else is available.
