tri-power alternator mount

    need a litttle help with a recomendation on a tripower alt mount on a sbc short water pump. i would like it to be between the framerails on a 32 ford . it can stick out a little since i only have a hood top but i want to keep it tucked up tight so its not hanging out the side

    I got mine from Speedway motors. It sits above the p***enger side valve cover, right next to the front carb.

    They make low mount that go in place of the Power Steering Pump

    Thats the one, man...puts it right down in the rails, tucked in, so less people point at your fancy, new-fangled, high-tech, lternating current device... :rolleyes::p

    I got a low mount kit of speedway. Fits pretty good.

    put an alt on my son's gokart[was elect start&points/coil]found out back then that alt charges even when rotating back wards >this imfo may help with clerance locating& hidding alt down out of sight
