Tri-Power Carb Spacing??

    1958 Chevy Carb centers same as Olds J-2 6" ?? Looking for 3 duece oval air cleaner for Rochster 2G,s 6" center to center. Thanks Dave

    Yes, my factory 348 cast iron tri power is 6" spacing

  4. I made my air cleaner from sign aluminum and spacers of 3" aluminum driveshaft tubing, 240z air filter.

    When the Ford enthusiasts reproduced the oval air cleaner for the Ford Holley 3x2 and 2x4; they also thoughtfully reproduced it with the botton UNPUNCHED! Nice looking air cleaner, and they also reproduced the element, so new elements are readily available. You can punch the bottom for your own custom configuration, if function and not originality is your goal.

    I got this cheap one for 50 bucks on Ebay. It's a new universal dual quad set up.

    3 of those cheap 2bl A/C bases and a flat piece of sheet metal with the appropriate hole spacing.

    I bead blasted off the black. I like it considering the price and the fact that it's not a faithful 406 clone.

    I was all excited to get 3 mid 60s aluminum flat sided A/Cs for trips. They would have been perfect for my early 60s theme. When I got them they were too wide for the Edelbrock spacing. I think there were made for the Pontiac carb spacing. I was heart broken.:D
