ok so i'm putting a triangulated 4-link in my 49 cheby deluxe, at ride height both bars are supposed to be pretty level right? like 0 degrees with the frame or so. another question, the upper control arm, how many degrees is it supposed to triangulate? should i put it at like a 45, or 65? and how long sould the upper bars be compared to the lowers, it seems like all the factory cars with this setup have the upper bars around half the length of the lowers or maybe a tad longer. anyways i bought a KC components 4-link kit and i mocked up the rear end in the frame today and started to mock the 4-link and i got lost real quick, i think i would have been better off building my own because there is no way this kit is gonna fit if it works like i think it sould...

I just have my 32 frame to look at, but yes, the arms are parallel to the frame. The top bars mount to tabs that are welded on to the rear-end pumpkin part of the case, just inside the tube welds. This set's-up your angle, as you want these to be angled straight towards the frame. Mine looks like about 45 degree's. My bottom bars are about a foot longer.
