Just realized...we've only really mentioned grille treatments for customs...can't forget the hot rods! I love the duece grille, but my favorite is the '33...no modification needed! Rick

RickyBop, don't know WHERE to start here!!! Yeah, I'm old-fashioned enough t love Jane Mansfield's like 40 Stude's Caddy; I'll settle for my '55 Fireflite, though.

You are TOTALLY right about the '33 Ford. I honestly think they lifted the idea from the herring-bone grilles on the Buick Marquettes (which had lifted it from a luxury French car! LOL fair IS fair, eh?).

But -- YEAH -- nobody said we had to stick total with CUSTOM grilles.

Those Buick grilles SURE were popular in customs, eh? I don't know if there are more DeSoto or Buick grilles (?).

Your comment about my thread (THIS one?) going OT went right over my head, buddy. Clue me in, so I can get in on it!

Anyhow, grilles are the ****!!! Whoa!

    Oh...

I guess I must have missed the question mark at the end of the sentence then...wait...hmmmmmmmm...

No, I just checked it again...there is no question mark. Without a question mark, or ANY kind of punctuation, it's a statement...reads like one too...!!!

I haven't been a member of the HAMB for very long, but long enough to figure out that OT stands for "Off Topic"...you know...posting responses that don't have much to do with the intended topic of the thread you started...that's what I meant. Or worse yet, going OT with stuff that doesn't have much to do with this site! (That's a big no-no.) Yeah...they made you say, "Getting back on track here, guys....." Hahahahaha! Take care, Rick

Thanks & yep, but some HAMBer'll generally steer you back on track -- that is, unless the digression makes for more interesting ocnversation! LOL Good gabbin w. ya, Rick!

(BTW, I've only been on the HAMB network since January, bro. And THE main reason I joined was to get learnin' AND because this is a FUN -- sometimes tough -- group!!)
