Anyone have any idea of what would look good on the side of my 52 Chevy? I've been having a pretty hard time finding anything

  2. I like 50 Pontiac side trim as well as 56 Buick. The Pontiac trim needs the rear fender spear shortened to fit, however. Not sure what needs to be done to the Buick trim, if anything.

I looked at the 56 Buick trim,I don't think I'd have to do anything to it to make it work. Anyone ever seen shortened 55 Chevy trim on these? I figure I could remove what would be the door section on a 55 to shorten it up to fit the 52

54 Chevy Belair quarter panel trim (2 lines and a "U") going back into a scoop in the quarter bulge.

I like the idea of the 55 Chevy trim... just use the spear from the rear quarters and the tip of said spear from the door. Move it forward & down on your 52 so that what was once on the quarter will now be on the door, and what was on the door will now be on the front fender.

    Countless ideas at:

  6. Buick trim from most of the 50's models works well...there are a few sets in the classifieds right now.

Personally, I think '52-53 would look great :)
