1952-59 Ford Trim mouldings clips

    Hello all.. I have a 52 Ford Customline tudor and I am trying to figure out which clips do I need for the trim that's on the door and fender and also the for the trim that wraps around the car just below the windows..

    Do you have the trim and sealant book for the car? They list the correct clips, the ones for my '59, just about every site that sells them had them wrong. Try Restoration Specialties for the best advice.

    Zax,
    Any idea if the Top Belt Moulding Clips listed above are correct for my 55 Wagon trim, as circled?
    Ive looked all over Hell and back without any luck.

    Hard to say. I'm not real familiar with '55s. Probably wouldn't hurt to buy enough for one piece of trim and test them out. This video does a good job describing the different styles of Ford/Mercury clips and how they install.

    I got frustrated with the expensive replacement clips that were stamped to match the factory clips, I looked for something else.

    What I used to replace them was the universal aftermarket ****erfly clips that are available in several different sizes, I bought several boxes of them at 1/4 th the price and much easier to work with.

    I found them at the automotive paint store for around 35 cent each when I purchased a box, Mac's list them for 3.99 each. HRP
