I think they started with a 4dr and added a rear section to turn it into a wagon

When the trailer parking area is almost as big as the car show parking. Haha

Yea, not my class of cars but I can definitely appreciate the work and talent that go into them. :D I would be parking down there in the spectator parking.

Lol...I would too and do at events like the Gathering at the Roc but was trying to be humble. :p Heck, my beater won best of show once. Actually, it was best of “shower” since it poured and very few cars showed up.

This show looks unreal but what's the deal with it? Obviously it has brought out some real heavy hitters, but is this a show for mortals too? Can you just show up with a regular old car and exhibit? Clearly this is not a "traditional" show, what's the criteria?

I've been seeing the pictures of the show and it looks amazing, like an event I'd like to try to make it out for next year. But the only people I know who actually went have heavy hitter cars that are contending.

  11. Cut off dates are 1972 for cars and 1998 for trucks. Not sure if there are any other criteria. I have seen a number of videos of guys walking around the show and I have yet to see a vehicle that isn't painted so not sure if that is required or just who showed up.

At first glance, I didn't like the '48 Explorer, but now I really like it. Its not gimmicky like I first expected.

  14. Thanks for posting, there are some fantastic cars and the work is exceptional, but this sweet 5 window gets my attention. HRP

  16. We went there to check out the show. Yes a lot of top national cars there. Opened up for judging with great trophy’s. There was about another 750 /800 cars there just for the good time.
We had a blast met up with Kindig, Troy Lad, Bobby Alloway all came by to talk. Lucky us we were next to Cody and the Buick. When you really can get up close and see his car it is a work of art.
Really cool to see cars from Roadster show, Ridler cars and other super high end up close. Even better was they had to drive in and thru the racetrack. IMG_0089.jpeg IMG_0087.jpeg IMG_0081.jpeg
