@rockable Just asking if you have the envelope For #86 to see if shipped from Md or Ca, I believe all originally like 87 when printed are shipped from Ca , Seem printer in Ca . Just seeing maybe #86 was in Md as over stock & was shipped from Md .
On second thought, maybe it isn't a business, maybe it's just a hobby. I do not but I agree with you, probably shipped from different location/warehouse. I just wonder if Steve is actually trying to run this as a business or as a hobby......a hobby that gives him an excuse to attend car shows, interview cool builders and builds, write history lessons, etc. If so, that would explain a lot.
I disagree, I honestly believe it is a p***ion for Steve, after all the **** that has happened over the years since he published the very first issue and he still hasn't taken the easy way out, throwing his hands up and say I quit and file chapter 13 Bankruptcy. He is publishing the very best hot rod and custom magazine ever IMHO and I can't imagine the dedication & determination Steve has poured into making TRJ what it is. HRP
The mailman did stop Thursday in front of my house and packed the box full of bills, There wasn't room for the Rodders Journal if he had it. HRP
Nothing to get excited about in the mailbox on Friday or Saturday, at least the sun is shining and all the ice has melted. My feet didn't slip out from under me and I didn't fall and bust my **** in the driveway checking the mailbox this weekend. HRP https://youtube.com/shorts/KJpHq83qdks?si=98GDIAQgqiTCVruF
I don't blame you one bit, throw another log on the fire! BTW, that wouldn't be The Rodders Journal your reading ? HRP
Nothing here yet. Though I’m so sick at the moment I’d probably accidentally tear one of those nice glossy’s pages shivering. in my head I like to imagine my hopup and my rodders journal are racing each other to my house!
@Tim @HOTRODPRIMER Not teasing or gloating I think my Hop Up been in mail box Since Friday / Sat , & I still have not walked to get, maybe about 11 pm I'll check
Tuesday & Wednesday, the substute mail driver told me this morning that the regular mailman said he thought I was stalking him. HRP
Got all the magazines, bills, junk mail, letters from lost family, birthday cards, donation requests, mail for someone I don't know but NO TRJ! It ain't the post office to blame.....
I got an email reply from my FB message. They claim they delivered #87 to my old address. Strangely #85 and #86 made it to where I live now. I moved in October of 2020. And now we wait again. But there was a response.
Give it a couple more weeks. It's been a week since GNRS so they have some money to pay the mail house now so the second batch of #87 will begin shipping shortly.
You can add Pennsylvania to not shipped to list fortunately my issue of Hop Up did delivered and it should keep me occupied for quite while
From all recent reports it is starting to look like Hop Up has seen an enormous hole in the market and is doing their best to take the 'top dog' spot. Not surprising considering how long the door has been left open.....
I got a email from customer service. TRJ customer service via yahoo.com Feb 11, 2026, 2:03 PM (20 hours ago) to me Hi Danny, Thanks for the email. Your Lifetime sub is all good and you were on the mailing list, so we are not sure why you have not received it. We will re-ship one to you thin week. Thanks for your patience and support, we appreciate it. Kind regards, Customer Service The Rodder's Journal 24848 Meeting House Road Denton, MD 21629
man if they had a glitch and sent stuff to 2020 and earlier address’s it sure would account for a lot of missing magazines. I also moved since then and I have had at least one or two issues delivered to my current address. nothing in the mail today.
