Sorry. I live pretty much in the dead center of Pennsylvania, four miles from the PO in town and have been enjoying #87 for over two weeks. Did you leave cookies for your mail carrier at Christmas?
I really don’t expect to see anything anytime soon, I placed my order Dec 20 2025 and just wanted to join the rant. Worth noting I placed my order for Hop Up around the same time I’ll give the cookies a try
Well I'm sure IF my copy of TRJ was shipped it got LOST in the mail, I'll give the folks at TRJ a few days and see what happens. HRP
Yeah I havnt seen hop up or rodders journal. I really thought at least one of them would have shown up
I finished reading this issue. Some of it is dated but the quality is still there. I can't think of any other publication that I have read that provides as much back story to go with the feature as this. I have no idea if Steve will survive with this but I hope he does. I know that many share this sentiment. Maybe we are supporting a sinking ship but if you have the love affair with hot rods, do you regret this? As a fan of print media, there aren't many choices. I hope the USPS finds a way to get the rest of you your copy and hope it puts a smile on your face.
Dare I say it, Thanks to Ron's help I recieved my issus of TRJ in the mail today, the envelope is a little worse for wear but the magazine is intact with no damage, It was hand delivered at 2:35 PM by a United States postal worker. Sorry Tim, I hope yours is soon to follow. HRP
Here's something to think about. Ryan shipped the latest run of tag toppers only five days ago and they are arriving at their destinations today. Seems the Postal Service is due a pat on the back.
I've emailed RJ twice , Dec 19 and Feb 5 . No response . No magazine yet . fortunately I bought one from https://www.autobooks-aerobooks.com/
is this the one that was supposedly mailed months ago or the replacement issue? Now that you have it I am a little worried about how you’re going to keep your post count up Lol
Mark, it is the replacement, mailed on Feb. 9th. And don't worry Mark, I can always come up with a some obsurd subject that will keep you guys entertained. HRP
Still nothing, starting to lean towards it never showing up but I’ll keep waiting. Been 20 months since the last issue what’s another week.
@HOTRODPRIMER is there any sign on the package that it may have p***ed through Jacksonville Florida at some point? I've had very bad luck with anything mailed that goes through there.
friend received reply to inquiring about status of subscription. told it had expired. my thought on that why didn't they notify him. anyway, he renewed weeks ago, here in Calif. still no delivery.
I’ve been getting the update emails, I got a two year subscription and have gotten 2 maybe three issues since. I’ve received at least the last issue at my current address so I should be good subscription and address wise. Maybe an entire palette got lost?
To anyone who has sent an email. It will be addressed, as the subscription department is responding in the order they arrived. There were over 900 to respond to after GNRS. Each email is checked against the database to ensure the correct answers are sent back. If you have not sent in an email at all, do so at customerservice@roddersjournal.com When you do give all the information about you that you can, include your old address, new address, and payment invoice number. If you are a lifetime subscriber, give us your ID number as well. Once that email is sent, it will get answered. You just have to be patient.
Sent an email today. Thanks. edit: got my enormous new Hop Up annual today in the mail. The packaging was beat to hell and back but the book was perfectly fine thankfully. I’ll have something to read while I wait on the journal now
If it takes 10minutes to read and answer an email, which might be too short, maybe you could do 40 a day? So maybe 25 days just to do what came in after GNRS. So I am hoping the is more than one full time staffer on emails.
The only reason he got his is because he on here enough saying he didnt get one so they sent him one. It wasnt part of " issue #87 has shipped" there are still loads of people in that boat. He clearly got bumped up the "answered in the order received" email list.
And that is exactly why a different approach would be a better option.... but it seems that the blinkers are on.
