Technical Tropical glitz paint

Discussion in 'Traditional Customs' started by The Chevy Pope, Jun 23, 2024.

  1. Came across an ad for their products. Saw that a friend on FB that does custom paint(in fact has restored and painted some big name customs from the 50s) apparently likes them though I haven't heard back from him on his opinion. Stuff on their page looks good but seems like really low priced. And wasn't able to find info on whether water based or normal or if it's enamel, urethane or lacquer. Basically just asking opinions on product line and further info on them.

I bought some of their flake. His son has a disability and the flake goes to help fund his medical needs. I bought 4-5 tubs and may never use them. I just liked the idea behind it.

We have been very happy with the products and Manny is great to deal with regarding any questions at all

  7. May just start with these two. Regardless of quality buying paint unseen in person always makes me itchy. But the gold flake will do nicely in the white I have planned and the silver in the blue I have planned Screenshot_20240624-184225.png Screenshot_20240624-184258.png

I used some on Tony Ray's shoebox. Not bad, great colors, and effects. But buying the paint pre-thinned makes it hard to determine if the pricing is good.

I had them mix some of their paint into a rattlecan. Worked very well and turned out nice. They were pretty good with electronic communication.
