great first outing. I was watching the live feed. looked good. with a little seat time and some tuning this car should be a heavy hitter.

 

Man, that car looks great! Did you shorten a 125" chassis or start from scratch?
My old pardner Mike Civelli now runs that class. Looks like great fun.

Its a new build, 120 inch purposes built Fuel Altered, not a FC chassis. That Bad News Fiat is awesome.

 

This is why I love the HAMB. I've never seen anything like that. Alien, mind blowing stuff.

are you going to come east with the car. my friends roger radar lechtenberg this years march meet winner and tom motry with his world record holding car have some fast fuel alterers. the fuel altered nationals is held in iowa every year. it would be fun to see you run there. they get all the top cars in one place for a weekend of serious racing. roger won it the last two years. its always a good time.

 

That Nitro Madness car is super bitchin, and what can you say about the Drastic Plastic, it's just awesome...There's no plans to travel to the Mid West. We all have jobs and families so traveling really isn't in the works. We are planning on running Boise this year. The Fuel Altered Nationals is on our to do list, someday.

i grew up watching drastic plastic and chicago fire match racing at union grove. the experience ruined me. those cars were incredible. I'm a huge fan of the class. any word on the drivers of the cars that crashed i the shut down area? i heard the cars were destroyed. i can't find anything about it on bang shift reruns.

 

That thing really moves out !

Busy day in the garage yesterday. The car is a part and pieces are going out for repair and some more fine tuning.

 

Our inspiration for building the Trouble Maker chassis was the 70's version of the Mob AA/ Fuel Altered. We liked that the motor was way out and wasn't a funny car.

Our March Meet damage is fixed and the car is ready to go back together. We've acquired another BAE bock and BAE#4 heads, so we have a spare long block. Should be a good day in the old garage getting everything back together. We're looking for another crew member who wants to learn about nitro racing. Someone that is somewhat close to the Valencia/ Santa Clarita Valley area. No experience needed.

We're happy to announce that the Trouble Maker AA/FA will be racing Saturday night May 28th at Barona Drag Strip. Should be a great night under the lights in So Cal.
There will be four Big Show Nitro Funny Cars involved in the, "The 330 Shootout." Drivers Del Worsham, Paul Lee, Gary Densham, and Brandon Welch in the Chuck Beal Racing. Bring the kids and come see nitro at night...
