I hope I'm not barging in on anyone but, I'm new in town. Anyway, is anyone out there who can tell me what type of coilovers I should be using on my 55/210 chevy? She's to be driven on the street primarily and get some occasional Strip time too. However; after installing a 4link system with what appeares to be bottom of the line coil-over shocks my car rides as if it were built with out any suspension at all! Not FUN!!! Who has ideas?

Weight rating of the current springs and photos would make it much easier

If you unhook the coil overs can you move the rear end up and down freely

I ran 165 lb springs on a Chevy II I coil overed & mini tubbed , but as mentioned what are the spring rates? That's a good starting point to begin with. Flux

Running springs that are too stiff is not an uncommon problem.

My guess would be the aforementioned 165lbs. to 180lbs. depending on your desired ride quality.

If you do not know the current spring rate, it can be figured out. Measure the diameter of the coil, the diameter of the wire, and the number of full coils. Post the results.

And yes, post a bunch of pictures.
