Well it's been almost 2 months now and I'm just finaly getting some pics of it up here. My truck got a fresh coat of primer after 2 days and 16 hours of sanding. Much thanks to Brewsier for the help on this you are definitely the man. And thanks to a32flathead for the pics. Almost ready for Paso. So what do ya think?
Looks good! BTW, in the How to Chop Tops book by Tex Smith, there's a run down on how to slice a panel.
Looks kil.Just need some vintage signage on them sides and a buncha lines laid down all over the place......Shiny
Thanks for the nice coments. esnacky6, We started out with a grey base primer and just added a whole bunch of color to itan dthis is just kinda ended up with. We were trying to get brown but this color looks good. Ratboy, yeah I was planning to use those plates but the DMV said I need commercial ones. So I'm on the lookout for some. As for the grill I just put it together from shoebox, F1, and F100 parts. It fits in there pretty good I just have to finnish it up. Before Paso it's gonna get some scallops and alot of stripping.
That color almost looks like battleship grey. Post some pics when ya get it all striped up, looks real good. later plmczy
the 'other' shot of the truck I took... Pleease note the ULTIMATE accessory mounted on the rear door....Yup, its a bottle opener Looking forward to seeing the stripes & scallops soon. Dave
