  1. There's obviously millions of the nasty little bastards.

I have it on good authority they don't care about that,
but if you mess with their jobs they will get the BA and union Stewart on your ass.

What happened to the Hemi, not that the 350 doesn't look good just curious

  4. Always has been a hemi in there. Nothing else & still is

  5. I think you saw its post :

The 350 came out of a different car and went into to the old/former chassis.

The 350 looks better! It's not so big and fat and doesn't have those dumb wires coming out of the valve covers. Plus those dang Hemis are everywhere.

  8. Did you hurt anything else when you fell and hit your head?

  9. My head's okay but I hurt my penis when stepped on it and tripped and fell. .

Everything's hurt. Didn't expect to make it this far.

That's why I no longer climb cyclone fences.

Looks like a curling bar to me. I understand the dilemma I think, not wanting it running across the grill. Other options?

    Wow, nice!

  16. Thank you.
    How about a link too?

  17. If I'd a know I'd live this long I would have taken better care of myself.

Man, anatomy class is in the other thread.

Maybe a little more roll into the frame horns and a tad less curve into the bar?

    Yep, nice stuff there.

  19. Whew, just finished! Very inspiring. I like it when you think out loud, it's like the other Vicky saying "bring it in you'll wanna hear this". I like when kidcampbell71 gives his motivational speeches that kinda make you scratch your head. I have no excuses, I'm heading out to the garage to try and channel your mojo. How does the near perfect polished look get there?

I know that will need some tooth ground into it to accept paint, but getting the steel to that fine of a finish and reflectivity shows every flaw, high and low, wheel track, hammer smile dingy, that is there

Oh and more importantly that aren't there.

    That Facebook link doesn't work

English wheel, and using it proper. Use the lowest crown anvil you can and give it a light light wash over pass 45 degrees to the panel. The polished upper anvil on the wheel actually prints itself on the metal.

Another big one is clean you panel and upper anvil, no dirty metal in the wheel!

Just one more example of the metalworking skill on here that just amazes me. 31Vicky, you don't have to feel too bad, your skills are terribly impressive too.

  24. Polished wheel you say?
Mine wheel surface looks pretty smooth but like a farmers tractor finished it compared to polished. If polished is the goal, mine was (note the was) pretty rough. So I spent about 30mins surfacing it with some fiber rolocks letting the pad motion drive the wheels. It is at least 2 more hours away from fully polished but it sure did knock a bunch of ugly off the top wheel. So I wheeled a little piece and man what a difference!!! Thanks
It's those damn details that make or break you.

Do like the full radius lowers or slight flat ?

One of these days I'll get to use somebodies real tools instead of my junk and see what happens. ;)

They have a slight flat. True radius lowers are found on some of the cheaper machines and make tracking a nightmare. Some crazy guys prefer them and produce beautiful work though. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1423352375.546420.jpg

    Straight off the wheel.
