Hey, i am in the process of building a 1940 chev truck and was having trouble in what to use for the seats because the original was to big to fit me. i was wondering what some other BIG hambers were using as seats to be able to fit comfortably or at least fit.

    Thanks,

  2. I had a 40 and I used 2 bucket seats out of an 80 VW Scirocco. Leather and they fit good. Kinda street rodderish but a good fit if you plan to use buckets. Otherwise just measure and head to the junk yards, mini-van center seats always seem to be a good fit. I'm using one in my roadster now.

Try a Chev. S10, Dodge Dakota, Ford Ranger. All can be modified for different applications.
