My 41 Ford, it's been in the family for over 40 years. I'll make some progress soon as I've been saving parts and planning for awhile now. The exterior including ride height will be pretty well stock. I love the lowered trucks but everyone does that. The interior will be pretty stock as well with the exception of hidden audio and a 39 Banjo wheel. The rear end will be updated to a "9 but retaining drum brakes all around and the powerplant will be donated from my 88 F-150 302 5spd.

 

Seen this a number of times in the Austin/San Antonio area

I'm a Chevy guy but I would really like to own a unibody Ford pick up some day. I think they look awesome.

 

Here's the Dodge I sold a little while ago. 528 Hemi. 6 speed. Zoomies. Drove the snot out of it. Trying to forget about it.

 

I have this one now, a '65. Former push truck. Bought from HAMB'er. A little more subdued. Haven't started the mods yet. I have a built Slant 6 that I will roll with for a while.

 

Do you have a build thread on this some where? Love the out of the ordinary.

 

The episode of gearz with this truck is pretty much why im building a truck right now. That thing is bad ass.

Have not signed in for quite some time but just picked this up a few days ago.

1966 F-600 174" WB

I bought the truck to make a Ramp Truck out of to haul all my old stuff around.

Best part is it has never been titled or Registered, On Original MSO!

361 Engine, 5spd trans, 2-spd rear

Best part is it is UNRESTORED Original with only 5400 miles on it now.

A Oil change decal shows 3250.0 Miles in 1994

Only item under hood that has been changed are the spark plugs!

Even has the original Tires dated 3/66 They are in great shape too.
A bit hard after 48yrs but look good.

Tomorrow is cleanup time to see how nice it will look, Paint looks a bit dull in these pics from road grime.




Here is a pic within a few days of purchase when new.
