I visited a shop (North Carolina) yesterday and the owner was building this. Was told these are not the wheels being used. He made his own wheels. All I had was a cell phone for camera.

Looks like a 37 Dodge cab, could stand to be lowered and channeled a bit I think...

The new cab is a '63 for what its worth ;)

The cab and hood are the only "original" parts left of the original truck, it was pretty rotten and beat up when i found it.

That is a pretty cool rendering but it is going to take a ton of work to get that done. There are no wheel opening body lines on the rendering and the front fenders actually stick out a little on the real thing. Plus the body line droops on a unibody and runs straight back on the 64-66 then has a dip in the door. Plus the top of the bed is about level with the bottom of the side window in real life. Either you were going for a super custom look, or the guy doing the rendering has no idea what a unibody's lines look like. Either way, good luck!

  24. Posted on this thread a few years back with pics of the 50 M1 I built for my wife.
Just finishing up one for a customer. A 54' F100. Tow truck dropped it of in November. I just painted it Sunday.

That looks REALLY nice. The white running boards are a nice touch. Any more pics of the finished product?
