For all the Chevy and Ford people that have been asking, I have finally gotten around to starting a thread on how to adapt the chevrolet Truckstell OD to a ford torque tube. feel free to ask any questions! IMG_0056.jpg IMG_0051.jpg

The Truckstell tip-toe-matic was an aftermarket option for a chevy 3 on the tree, this unit was an early version of an automatic. The premises was that you could engage the overdrive by pulling a cable in the dash locking in OD unit and it automatically shift in od at a set speed. This was done by a mechanism hooked up to the clutch, allowing you to have six forward gears.
