trunk lid

I am trying to figure out what this trunk lid goes to. year make model etc if anyone can help me figure it out so i can sell it. 33 1/2 inches tall x 37 1/2 inches wide.

 

A pic of it lying flat on the floor would give a much better view of it's contours and make it easier to recognize.

The latch mechanism is kind of unusual...probably someone will recognize that by make, at least.

 

here is a pic of it laying on floor as if it was on the car.

 

i'd say late 30's GM sedan

 

I think it goes on the other way, up and down.

I once had a 39 Buick tudor that had that type of latching system. Maybe.
