I purchased the trunk side panels for my 1953 ford Victoria from Dennis Carpenter. Has anyone used these. I am a little confused as to which piece goes on what side and how they mount. It did not have the panels when I bought the car.

Post a picture of the trunk & panels. I made a set for my '59 Ford out of thin plywood. I had 1 old one I used for a template. The side-to-side difference was clearance for the gas filler neck vent tube. I believe from the factory they are held on with low-head sheetmetal screws.

the left panel in that illustration on my car from california had a panel on left side made of a masonite type material.pretty sure it was original as car had low mileage.I made a copy as it was pretty well dried out and brittle.other than that the cardboard was the same.found the cardboard a little tricky to bend to fit as it is pretty stiff
