    Damn! I failed too!
That metal will come back as new refrigerators made in Mexico or China.
I know you can't save them all,but it still seems like a waste.

Re-distribution of 'wealth'. It comes in all dimensions. I didn't vote for it.

Projects and parts gone forever due to what was probably a horder who wouldn't sell any of it!
The same thing happened in Marysville Ohio 10 years ago, over a hundred cars
could be seen from the freeway gone in a few days!!!!!
Horders will continue to let this happen do to their illness!
    VERY SAD!

I have to agree that it is very sad and a great waste. But to be honest it looks like it would be fun. You think they could at least have saved the hubcaps!

There's a tear in my beer......... I'll bet those equipment operators drive Subaru's with Earth First and coexist bumper stickers applied to the paint. A car guy just could not do that. You should have chained yourself to the excavator then laid down in front of it, you would have at least made the 6 o'clock news.

Ummm, it's been longer than four weeks, because it's been on youtube since April, 2009. It's also been posted here before. There are lots of youtube clips of nicer cars being crushed than the ones on here.

Wow glad the property owner (whoever owned it at that exact time) prioritized getting rid of the cars first before those tires and not allowing as much time as possible to allow some people to come pay them money to take them away to bring them back to life. Because that pile of tires looks great and should be saved until the very end!

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust, better to have been once than never at all. If it were not for hoaders there would be no yards at all. You see old cars and treasure, some one saw $3600 on that flat truck. They won this time.

How many times will we see posts the same as this?
Get over it. If you're that concerned about all the tin in yards,go buy it all,fix it all up and be heroes.

  15. Old video, posted here at least a couple times over the years.

not everyone thinks the same way we do guys..

that's a whole lot of junk in a lot of people's eyes.

  19. No, most of it WAS a whole lotta junk, thats the reason it sat there so long. I am so tired of the "new" car folks thinking everything before 1972 was cool. It was not, never has been and never will. Some of this **** was just that, ****. Oh I mourn that schoolbus. Face it, there are thousands of farms with the same pile of **** in the middle country and folks ain't lining up to haul it away at a premium.

That pile of tires was probably painful to get rid of. I bet that added up to a notable number.

I'll bet the owner would have sold the whole shebang to someone who would have saved them.
If you want to save them, get out there and save them, don't just ***** about it when they're gone. 'Course someone would call you a hoarder if you did.
The only reason the crusher gets them is that he says he'll take them and pays when the deal is done

  30. The only way to beat the s**** guys is to become a s**** guy - as long as you haul the **** away most people won't care if it's intact or 12 inches tall. Sure it costs money - everything costs money - but if every guy put up the s**** price of one car for every time they *****ed about something like this, there'd be a lot more cars still here waiting for someone.

And then again if a few get s****ped, maybe someone will step up the next time instead of sitting on his thumbs watching. All it takes is a little money.
