If you are using Windows, go into Windows Explorer find your photo in your files and clik on it. Then at the top of the page click on File and then Edit. Whenthe edit window opens click on Image and then click on Stretch/Skew. Then adjust your stretch % to a lesser number, depending on how big the orginial is ( file size). I usually start at 50 % for both the horizontal and the vertical, and then save the file with a new name. Again I usually use the same name but at the new % number on the end. Then using Windows Explorer check the new file size to see if it is below the max size that the photo manager will handle. When you get use to it, this method is relatively quck and easy. BTW, if the first size reduction is still too large, choose the original photo again and procede as above but select a lesser % than the one you used before. Eventually you will get to a size that is acceptable.
