For lower production runs or one offs, a lot of good bends have been made using "close enough" and improvised tooling. More than one roll bar was bent around a tree trunk in the yard back in the day. Over the years I've tried many lo buck methods for various projects, sometimes they got the job done, sometimes not for various reasons. For me it's the traditional hot rod way. I consider any wall art made as the price of tuition for lessons learned and the fun I had in cl***. A mini bike frame isn't near as critical as a race car cage so I'd say experiment with what you have or is easily available for what you can afford.
