    Hello,

Nobody know where I can buy Tubular A-Arms for my ford customline 1954 ?
I would like to put air ride and I think that the bag on the front will rub and tear on the lower arm. Tubular resolve this problem.

    Thanks a lot !

    Rémi.

I looked at jamco but the kit is for 49-53 ford.
    It's Ok for my 54 ?
It's not the same frame between 53 and 54 ford ? or ?

I would send Jamco an email the kit converts 49-53 Fords to ball joint suspension which a '54 has.Does your Ford have the 239 overhead V-8? some of the import '54 Fords that went to Canada and Australia were actually '53 Fords with flathead V-8's and '54 sheetmetal.

I bought my ford without engine and I have put on it an V8 Y block 279ci without modifications. On the american certificate of ***le that I have with my ford, it is an "3974cc benzine motor"
I don't know if the car had flathead or y-block when it was still in California...

If the 272 went right in, it was not an import.Let us know when you hear back from Jamco.

Hey.... check out my pics of my '53.... I have a pic of the tube front end that went into my car. It took a day to get out the original, clean up and install the kit. It bolts in without any mods of any kind. Very easy to do.

Better yet, CALL Jamco Suspension. They are a great group over there and they will set you straight with what you need.

    Hello,

I had a reponse of jamco, here is what they said to me:

WE DO NOT HAVE TUBULAR A-ARMS FOR THE 1954 AND LATTER CARS. ONLY 1949-1953

    I will find another solution.
