Very similar to original Model A seat tilt the seat back and fold forward design.

I took these out of an 09 Chevy Tahoe they were converting to a Police car.
I bought an extra set thinking I could fit them in the back if anyone's interested.

those are pretty cool..how big are they..and how tall is the back?
looks like they might sit up too far off the floor , but thats hard to tell in those pictures.

size is a big issue in the small cabin of an A..how wide are they

without the head rests they might be low enough?

I'll take some measurments tonight. They are too high with the base, so I used a cut off wheel and took the base off. I welded 1" square tubing to the front and bolted that to my floor. The rear of the seat locks onto 2 simple rods so I built some of those as well. Just a little fab work if you want them lower. I can keep the head rests doing it this way.

Just make them fold like Ford did. Hr 31 was it about right, fold seat back forward, then fold the entire seat forward, pivots at the front of seat base.

    Good luck .................Jack

The dimensions are 32" tall x 20" across x 24" front to back. I cut out 4.5" so you're down to about 27.5" tall afterwards.

I meant to add to this post back in the fall, but life sometimes just gets in the way. I stand 6 foot and with my firewall set back 4 inches my front seats are a fair way back in the car. I struggled with trying to find a way to get into the back seat as well. This is what I came up with and could be adapted to any seat that you choose to run. The seats are Fiero buckets and as you can see the upholstery is not done yet. Most likely will cut down the top of the bucket to make them a little shorter. The most important thing is the ability to slide the seat forward so that you can access the back seat.
The Fiero seats sit on their stock sliders. The stock sliders are welded to heavy duty drawer slides. For minor adjustment the stock slider release is used and the seat slides forward and back about 7 inches. If someone needs to get into the back seat, there is a wire that connects to the bear claw latch that is connected to the drawer slide ***emble, releasing this allows the seat to slide forward the entire length. When you slide the seat back, the bearclaw latches and the seat does not move.
Have a look at the pics and it should show you how the setup works. Final upholstery will have a skirt that hangs down to cover the drawer slide mechanism, and a nicer knob instead of bare wire to release the bearclaw.

    Nice set up B-bop.
Im still playing with mine, and have an offer for some smaller bucket seats than I have right now, so time will tell.

I have a temporary set up on the seats i have in mine now, but im still in the building phase.

They track forward somewhat like yours, and also have the ability to rotate forward. Im not as tall as you so I didnt have to push mine back as far, im only 5'-10" or so.

No big people in the back..and that could be a subliminal plan;)

mostly my daughter and dog will be p***engers back there anyways
