I posted this on another thread, but as fast as the HAMB moves, I thought I should post it here as well.

Its a wonder it didnt break in half,,,Was that the back of the fin sticking out from under the cover? It looked pretty rough.....

  10. They lifted it out, and put it back? IDIOTS! What if it only had one lift worth of integrity left in it, and it breaks the 2nd time?

  14. Yea Groucho, but i'm sure what's under the pretty girls skirt,is cleaner than that! Might smell the same though.

As for the outside sheetmetal, I think this might be a genuine case of "It'll buff out".
As for the interior and inside sheetmetal though...

Not looking too good. Doesn't it look like the trunk lid is rusted out/caved in?

Remember, the car that Bonnie and Clyde died in has made Hundreds of thousands of dollars just hauling it around and charging a buck or two to see it. I'll wait for it to be displayed at our county fair in a couple of years and take the grandkids to see it.
That's the smart way to cash in on this deal, no expensive restoration, just REAL patina generating income revenue. ;) :D

That's so Number 2 which has been stored high and dry can be slipped in under cover after having a coat of gin-you-wine fine grain river mud smeared over it and the tarp placed on...

Take your shots now, cynics - I happen to know that Mopar is pristine under that sheet! Okay, I don't know, or care either way - but this is a pretty fun thread to read (I'm hooked). Thanks for the updates.

  24. I could set up a small booth next to it and make a small fortune selling Tetanus shots...

You know.. in those last shots. You can see the tarp is "wet" and stuck to the car.. but I think the white paint stripe can still be plainly seen on the side. Interesting... might bode for the exterior being a little better than we think. Hard to say.
