Tuning the 'white space' - maybe multiple CSS styles?

Discussion in 'Questions & Suggestions' started by Bored&Stroked, May 21, 2014.

  1. Hey Ryan: I love a lot of things about the new site - obviously a huge amount of work from top to bottom. From an overall productivity perspective, there is one thing that makes it less efficient for me than the old format - the amount of white space between lines (and maybe font size). I'd like to see a lot more posts/threads on a page than I can - due to the amount of white space between every line of text. Now a more 'compressed' layout might not be for everybody, so maybe you can create a couple different CSS style sheets and make them available as preferences. I'd opt for more detail/data per page - as it would allow me to cover much more information without scrolling or paging. Just a thought - keep up the great work!

Note: I included two images below - one "as is" and one where I hacked the CSS to show what I'm talking about. :)

  2. Here are two examples: one 'standard', the other I hacked the CSS . . .

We might do this in the future... However, I'm focusing on features and bugs at the moment.
