Turbo 350 question, what is this?????

    Should be a tag that will id the transmission or take some pics to the local transmission shop.

    LOL! I had to go thru some old parts catalogs to refresh my memory too. I only looked at like '78 and '79 model years and saw usage for the A bodies like Malibu and Grand Prix. Looks like they were mostly used behind the Buick V6s and maybe some of the lower output V8s like the 301 Pontiac.

    I thought the TH250 and TH350 operated the same way, but the TH250s had smaller bands and fewer clutches. Also the TH200s didn't use a vacuum modulator, if I'm remembering right.

    My 78 Skyhawk had 3.8L V6 and TH350.
