Hey guys - I've never done a trans conversion before so I was wondering if I wanted to swap a turbo 350 to m22, what kind of pain am I looking at?

Every model A in my area is either a factory resto or someone's project they dropped a granny tranny in.
    Thanks for any help!

You need to buy a clutch, flywheel, bellhousing, transmission, shifter, figure out clutch pedal and linkage, probably get a new driveshaft (splines are different), and probably a few other things I forgot.

btw without knowing more about the car/engine, it's kind of likely you'll be better off with a M21 instead of a M22....at least it would cost less, and save you the hassle of a different driveshaft. But if you're set on an M22 because of the sound and the mystique, then don't worry about it.
