So I would like to hear some Y block gurus weigh in on
Putting a reasonable sized turbo 6-8 psi on an otherwise
Internally stock 292 from a 62 Truck it has the best factory rods
And a forged crank I think it's got bad heads so a turbo
Set up would produce great power without sinking 1500 plus
In good heads and speed equipment

Any thoughts suggestions or concerns would be awesome

I do realize all the obvious concepts behind a proper turbo install
So let's focus on the engine it's self

  4. 6-8 PSI = not much to do other than the obvious good operating condition and better than good enough oil pressure to put your turbo gear on.

Bigger ring gap and a cam with close to 0º of valve overlap.
