so 3 years ago or so till today we started this jalopy project, but with a little voodoo and just plane dumb luck we ended up with a ride that drives nice and is a bunch of fun and gets lots of smiles. Now spring is just around the corner and the snow is melting and days are getting longer I thought its time to add some parts and fix a few issues we had from last summer. One issue we want to adress is after the car gets hot, it will not start. I guess we should give some info about the jalopy. The motor is a 300-6 cyl. 4.9 with twin turbos. My distributer has no vacuum andvance and is welded. I run a bunch of timing about 30 degree. I was thinking about putting a MSD start retard and i was wondering if this will help with the hard starting? Any incite would be apreciated. Thanks H.A.M.B.y's
