Anything you put in a Model A coupe with more than about 60 horsepower already has enough power to turn a corner into an instant 720 degree turn into the fire hydrant... certainly any 327, with no need for a turbo. If you survived your first year with a driver's license, you doubtless have already learned to control throttle around a corner, and you shouldn't have much trouble in learning the new parameters of this rig. It simply needs a smaller percentage of throttle opening to kill you than an ordinary car, and your brain a foot will quickly learn the drill.

Great thread. Does anyone have pics of a traditional looking small block & turbo setup?

    Old thread.....turbo search day.

Original patent date 1885....forced induction internal combustion engine......Gottleib Daimler. WWI and WWII aircraft.....1920's automobile somewhat...1938 trucks (swiss)......hot rodders somewhat....never light enough impellers until recently.......oiling/bearing issues until recently......ignition tech and intercooler tech to run properly until recently.......not very HAMB friendly as a complete and functionally perfect package.....maybe.
