Gregg after attending last year, you guys did a hell of a job. easy to be a sideline coach. Your hamb area was/is awesome. Your area alone makes it worth going. Late models or not. Keep up the good work sir.

Andy not worry I will keep our HAMB parking going. We had our area pretty much filled two month's in advance. Believe it or not I have some HAMBer's pissing and moaning about paying ten dollar's for a reserved parking spot with like minded people . One thing I can promise .You wont have a late model truck, suv, mini van, corolla, civic, Camaro, mustang , or any other non HAMB friendly car parked next to you. Besides that you will have the coolest people at the show parked with you. I am not gonna get us a bigger spot either. We have room for about 60 car's and that's all there's gonna be . Our spot is separate from all the other club's and is gonna stay that way.So next year don't wait till last minute to join us cause you will get left out.

Thanks for the pictures and everyone else thanks for the update posts. Turkey Run was our favorite show..plus the Spring Spectacular. Sadly we just can't walk it anymore and can't afford scooters, etc.
Not complaining. My wife and I enjoyed the show from these pictures and others on stationwagon forums.
Years ago our local car club had a reserved section. The club spots are the best deal there is. If we ever get to come over again, we'll check with you guys. It's nice knowing where you will get to park and handy for the swap meet and everything else.
Guess I better also gripe about all the late models. I agree, I can go to Wally World or across the street from the Speedway and see late models parked.
    Thanks.

I hate the late model too, but the show isn't ruined for me, I still love the swap meet and there are still so many great cars you can't see them all. FWIW, I wasn't pre registered but I got in on Saturday morning at around 9.00am, which is late, in about 5 mins. It's $50 to register, which I spread out between my son and I and it works out to $25 each, the $50 clock I bought is easily worth $150 so I'm not complaining.

most of the non hamb friendly stuff i saw was in the car corral and that was easy to avoid if you didn't want to see it. they were very strict as to parking in the corral as sunday morning my buddy and i parked in the corral area to hit a few last minute vendors and in a few seconds it seemed the corral parking enforcement lady was right on us telling us move it or we will tow it

I saw a lot of cars(no joke, like five) towed in the first few hours Friday out of the car corral while we were shopping.

  12. Gregg:
I want to thank you, for all your effort at the Show.
For those of you that don't know, Mister Pellicer he does the Hamb Parking for the love of our Hobby.
And for those of you that have meet Gregg, you understand his concern and support for other's.

As an observation, There is one thing that would make Gregg's and other's effort smoother.

Ryan this is for you, and the growth of the Hamb in the Daytona area. You would be surprised of the number, of quality car owner's that have never heard of the HAMB.

It would be conducive to you.(Ryan) to supply the speedway ( that would be Gregg ) a Good sized Hamb Banner to hang on the fence that surround's the Hamb area.
This area has been a effort of Gregg for several years, twice a year.

Again thank you for your effort twice a year at the speedway. two very large shows each year.

Many Thank's Bob. I'm blushing.I'm sure someone else doe's the same thing at all the major show's and it is my pleasure. I have gotten so much from the HAMB and
this let's me give a little something back to the HAMB.

X100 on Greggs time & effort on the HAMB parking !!! I can vouch for the fact that there is frustration involved... Amazing that some people bitch about paying $10 bucks for reserved parking for the entire show!!...and some try to ride their "celebrity " status in for free...
BTW, thanks go to Jan also, she works hard to make sure all that paid get their spot...AND... she cooks a helluva Thanksgiving dinner...Ask me how I know !!!
