Well I thought it was great. Just as good as last year. Cold though in the mornin'. 44 Friday and 40 Saturday morning. Bel Air Plaza was NOT closed to rodders. Was goin' full swing as was the LaPlaya across the street. Action galore! I'm sure everybody will bitch about something. It just pisses me off that they don't have a moving sidewalk, like the Atlanta Airport, so you wouldn't have to walk from one end to the other. They should have some dudes with rickshaws like in Savannah to haul one's ass around to all the vendors too. Well hell, life's a bitch ..
Saw a handout at the Belair Plaza stating they where going to start in 2010 charging $10 per night or $30 for the week to drive your car into the plaza... THAT oughta put a serious damper and bottleneck on the evening festivities there if this happens...
I went and had a good time. I'm not too happy about the show lifting the cutoff year, though. There was a bunch of new Mustangs, Camaros, and Challengers. I am concerned about the show becoming a late model car lot. I'd like to see it go back to an earlier cutoff date, say pre-65.
