Here are some pic's from the run and a link to these and about 50 others... It was great to meet a few new HAMB'er from PA, GA an FL in person and see some old HAMB friends again (HotRodWalt, Duck, Deuce Roadster to name a few)... In fear of missing some I will post pics and let you put a name with the car... The Trip down was quick thanks to 80 - 90mph driving and a friend about 40 miles ahead of me, calling when he hit a speed trap (way to many).. did catch him at FL border. Weather was great (80's) on Thur and Fri with a few ****tered showers but got cold on Sat.. Well here is what you came to see, the pics... Turkey Run Pics Here are a few pics to give you the idea of how the HAMB gathering went (well I forgot how to post pics,,,, or I am doing something wrong)... use the link instead

Wanted to add one more note about the weekend,,, What happened to the FL guys,, Never did see Nads or Draglink or any of the other FL guys.. went by there booth on Thur and Friday morning but did not see them.. I wanted to ask them what was up with all the FL cars running around on 20 and 24 inch rims... This one had everyone talking, it was on a local car lot and seen at the show....
Great pics, if you like the Buick, come on up and visit Flint in the summer, those bling-blingin, big inch wheel havin, muscle cars are quite popular here. Kinda makes you sick! -Joe

[/ QUOTE ] "it was on a local car lot and seen at the show." Might expain it all. It may have been put together on the direction of a "Used Car Manager" and not the product of an actual human being at all. You know they do that on car lots all the time, for a while it was tape stripes on everything on the lot and "graphics" on all the vans. Whether you wanted them or not you got them. Now it may be EXPENSIVE wheels on everything just to make more profit. besides, those wheels are bound to be easier to sell on monthly payments than they are for cash. When I was selling cars there was a motto on the wall in the sales office; "There's an *** for every seat"
Wanted to type posting a pic again, Thanks for Denise if this works, I found a note she posted on Starbvld changing their format some...
Boones we were there in the same spot as always. I'm sorry I missed you buddy. I got home about noon today. It was damn cold on Friday and Saturday night. I got to meet So What and Sawzall a****st other HAMBers. It was very nice to put faces to names. I'll post some pics soon too. Right now I'm utterly ****ged out from too much hell raising and trying to sleep without having my warm wife to cuddle up to.
Boones I never found you or your car ?? Fouund Duck and some other SoWhat guys (although no one admitted to knowing him) This had to be my favorite car !! I`ll post some others soon.
that roadster parked with us on Friday... seemed like a nice guy, he called it his beater, not what most of us would call a beater.. that was a very nice car with flat paint... Cannibal, sorry I missed you. next time... So What, I still want that ride...
It took us about a day and a half for the swap meet, and I still don't think we got through all of it! That bronze colored roadster was sweet! Drilled everything! -Duck
SoWhat, I just did a search and you were going to take the mismatched drums I left at DragLinkscc swapspace, I forgot who they were for, but I knew I hadta bring them. Didja make it over to row 55? If not, Draglinkscc has 'em now. Possession is 9/10th of the law, do with them what you want Mike. He also has the HAMB sign, Do I smell an auction?
I was down there Wednesday to help set up my neighbors spot we were on row 52 with the black roadster that had the indy car front suspension (nice car except the front suspension). Sold some intakes and had a great time. I went back down Friday with my buddy Monte and we walked the swap meet and never did get to the car show until 4:30 when it was near empty. I saw some of the Tampons, Nads, Draglink and Chief from Pa. probably others that i didnt know i met. Found some good deals but had to look hard for them, got a set of chrome smoothies with caps for $30, a 94-98 chevy grill for my daily driver $20, vette rocker covers, ram horn exhaust manifolds, new guages, and sore feet.
Hey dixie you got those smoothies from me right? Do you have only one cap? I've got more if'n you want them. My friend sold 'em to you for $30 when I was gone off wandering. I told him $50 FIRM, you owe me $20.....just kidding!
Nads, It's Don... It was cool meeting some of the Rumblers and Draglinks. I will see you guys again for the campout thing and hopefully the Groundhog Gala. -Duck
the Drums were donated to the gents across the way along with my extra drums! I refused to return home with them! So ya snooze ya looze!!
Nads - I came back by to get your's and they were already gone I really did want to get them since the ones on my cheby are pretty nasty. The ones i got were 5 x 5 1/2 big ford pattern which is going to work great with the 46 set up that i have. Did you get any bites on $37,000 for the Packford?
That was a joke played on me by my pal Del. I think HE sold his 5 window deuce for $27gs though. The only thing the Packford's ever held a record in is in setting a crook in my neck in 20 minutes flat. I guess the wheels I had sold pretty damn fast, you got a good buy on your wheels though. See you and Duck soon.
I think we're all home now. Boones Sorry i couldn't catch you for that ride. Maybe next time. With the problems I had i forgot all about the drums. Clark
