We are sore, tired, and broke, but had a great time. Got to spend some time with Greg P and his family...........nicest people you would ever want to meet. Bought a lot of stuff we didn't need but wanted anyways. :) Bought some header parts from Matt on here and got a lot of good info from him..........super nice guy and he sure knows traditional headers.

We are glad we left the cars home this year, got to relax and not worry about anything breaking. Now we just have to save up enough money to do it all over again next November.

Ran out of time to see many of our old friends, but did get to see Skirv and his family for a while Sunday am. Finally got to see their two new Mercs and drool a little. Some guys just have too many nice cars. :D

Got home about 4 hours late, the Rivi broke down in Orlando on I4, the carb was giving us some problems during the cruzing but we thought we licked it, funny thing is we were looking through the new parts guys for a good deal on a 600 with electric choke, found one for 199 and didn't quite have enough by that point on the weekend so I passed thinking I would find one cheaper (silly me), anyway we were doing great using a little more fuel than usual and hit traffic in Otown and let off gas and it shut off in the middle of I4, I must of had an angel lookin after me cause the fast lane was empty and I drifted right under a overpass safely, Wew! The float on one side was dropped and it was spraying fuel all over the engine, lucky it didn't go up in flames, the irony is AAA only covered 100 miles of the tow and the difference was, you guessed it $200.... But we had a great time hanging out with Gregg & Jan, Roger & Sherry, and Russell, meeting some new Hambers, seeing some great rides and getting alot of ideas, we'll be back.:D Brian

Been working on my '55 Chevy Belair wagon for several years now. Finished the interior last week just in time for the show. Collaborated with Jeff Phipps and came up with a killer design. His craftsmanship is second to none!

There was all kinds of things to do around the show. On Saturday we went to the Iron Horse Saloon for the Renegade Magazine show, "Church of Chop Rusted Turkey Rat Rod Rumble". Great time! Cool ass rides including rats, hot rods, and customs! There were hot pin-up's everywhere! And, the bands kicked ass! Awesome additional event for the TRR! Walked away with the Best Paint Trophy! Gotta love that!

Just heard from a friend of mine that counterfeit bills were passed at the swap meet as well as to individuals selling their cars. The number I heard was around $250K. I haven't personally verified this through any legal authority, but just thought I'd send out a big heads-up to all my HAMB friends.

Thanks Denise. Lots of thought went into it. I'm fortunate to have a good friend, club mate, and 30 year expert knock it out. Jeff has done many high profile cars including some Ridler contenders. The quality is obvious, and I couldn't be happier. With Jeff's direction, I did a lot of the prep work and learned a lot throughout the process. You'll see it at the LSRU. We're making our plans now. Have some surprises in store too!

We drove the 55 ford panel...2200 trouble free miles. Used less than a quart of oil each way. Came back with the back LOADED !!! So much kool stuff at the swap -and we were exercising much restraint....Thanksgiving dinner at Duff's Buffet is the best !!! Thanks to Daytona Beach Street Rods - - they put on an awesome show !!!
