  1. Turlock did not disappoint! $20 is chump change these days... go grab a burger, fries and a coke and it's $20.

  5. No... I wasn't expecting I'd find a buyer. I think if it was a C/10 I would have had a crowd around it. Also, I did not hang around the car to explain it to people. I did hear that most people thought it was fiberglass... hahaha!

I've always liked 26-27 T's, like the looks of this one. For some reason it looks like there is more interior space than an A Roadster, have things been stretched? Bob

  8. I went for the first time. I enjoyed myself . A lot of great people there to chat with and network over parts.
I got a couple of great deals on some needed parts.
I already have booked my hotel room for next year.

  9. It’s actually all stock. But the way the floor and seat are in it… I’m 5’11” 260 and I fit. It’s snug, but I fit

I didn't realize that the black roadster was yours Sam. I stood and drooled over it for a while. I'd have to say it's perfect.

Hey @bchctybob good to see you at Turlock!

If I can offer some suggestions to the operators of the Turlock swapmeet.

I've been going for decades.. the vendor setup day is Friday, all vendors staged across the street at the polo grounds. Then they'd open the gates about 2pm and everyone would drive across the street into the venue, youd find your space and start setting up. This year..I don't know why...as soon as I arrived..about 11am, I pulled into a completely empty staging area..I drove around and was able to drive right onto the swapmeet grounds. This was a great improvement!

The rules on one part of their website said move in on Friday was 930am to 5pm. Another place said gates will not open before 1 or 2 pm.. I can't remember which. In either case...whatever happened to allow move in earlier is AWESOME. I heard that the spaces were marked off with GPS aided tractors and that it greatly sped up that process...if so....GREAT MOVE!!

Food vendors. This year seemed like there were way fewer food vendors and I don't recall them being open at all on Friday. If they were..it was for a short period of time. You have the entire venue nearly full...and no food vendors are open. Guys bbq and whatever but there should be at least a couple of food vendors open into the evening on Friday.

Friday setup day move in, in years past was a work of art. Tons of club members (yellow jackets) and their employees or volunteers would line up/stage shitloads of vendors per area where their swap spaces were. Then they'd open multiple gates of the venue at 1 to 2 pm..and everyone moves in an orderly way.

Saturday vendor return? Say you got a hotel room and you're gonna return Saturday morning. Easy peasy right? Nope. EVERYBODY has to get in the same line. I got in line at 430am..thinking it was a 24 hr gate..nope. Gate is closed. Security guard says they'll open at 530. By the time 530 rolls around..that line was literally a mile long. No yellow jackets to be seen...anywhere. Once you make the final turn from the street into the venue..I think I saw one or two yellow jackets. Mostly security guards at that gate.

For as much thought that was put into Friday move in...seems Saturday return is/was ignored. Why only one entry point? There should be multiple return points and as many yellow jackets to facilitate entry as there was on Friday. While I'm on the subject of reentry...how about exits? Weirdly..the normal entry/exit gate....which is where I spent an hour in line...was not open for vendors trying to exit. You had to turn around and go out a different gate. Why?

The swap meet was great otherwise...weather was about 60° both days...cool old hot rod parts everywhere.
