Hello H.A.M.B. Can anyone tell me what harness these turn signal wires plug into? I know the blue and black wires shown goes into the blinker. Its the 5 wires at the end that I can't figure out..
    Thanks, Mike

Is it a new old stock switch? or what? Cloth covered wires don't really translate to the wiring diagrams I've seen of modern switches.

You might just need to use an ohm meter and figure it out. One of the wires at the flasher socket will connect to the light bulb inside the switch, the other will connect to some of the other wires when the switch is turned one way or the other. And if there's one wire that connects to two others when the switch is off, but only one other when it's on, that would be for the brake light switch.

Do you have a ohm meter?
3 of the 5 wires should have continuity now.
Move lever to right turn position, of those 3 the one that no longer has continuity is right rear.
Move lever to left turn position, of those 3 the one that no longer has continuity is left rear.
The wire which always had continuity of the 3 is brake switch input.
The remaining 2 wires - with the switch in right turn the wire with continuity to right rear wire is right front. Move lever to left turn - should have continuity between left rear and remaining wire.
    Hope this helps.

I have a Schurz conmutator that I scanned the box. Similar to yours but they don't picture the red flasher knob on the box and the wiring is not cloth covered. Scan_20250105 (3).png

Thanks A2B, It's NOS and that's the problem I'm having. I'll meter all the probabilities.

Yes it's NOS...That's the problem. I'll have to meter every wire to figure this out. Thanks, Mike
Yes, it's an NOS part hence the cloth covering and the problem is the after market turn signals have a different color code! Tha's a whole lot of combinations!

Why not plug in a flasher, hook up power to the fused wire. Then get a bulb and ground one lead from it. Ground the turn signal switch, and with the TS switch set to left start testing the wires with the other lead from the bulb. You should find 1 wire that makes the bulb blink. That would be the left front. Then try to connect the orange wire to power, and see of another wire will make the bulb blink. That would be the left rear. If not the orange wire you could try the others one at a time bye just touching power to the wires. If you get a big spark move to the next wire. If this works repeat with the switch set to right. Not responsible for any fires this may cause. :D

I think you answered your own "why not" question? :)
