We just suck it up cuz signals are nearly in the gotta-have-it box these days. Then those clamp on switches and wires showing, yuk. Well, not me. Just whipped this up on a 40 Zephyr. I wish I coulda got a better paint match but I'll take it. Bent a ½" tube and ran the wires thru. Put em in a short hose to hold the tube at the switch end. Just taped the wires nice to the cable housings to hold the other end. Better than that fucky convolute or black tape I think, and fairly easy. Enjoy...;)

Yeah the under dash pic is a little funky but its taped to the trip set conduit if ya can't tell.

All the wiring in my car is covered with the asphalt/cloth loom. I used the same on the signal wires and you can barely see it as it loops up under the dash.

I built my own column using the shaft and turn signal "head" from a '68 Chevy pickup. I made a wireway channel riveted to the tube to route my wires to a terminal strip.

I had some Ford truck wiring conduits in my stash and I came across them today. I've used them a couple times on builds with old Ford steering columns. They are not quite as nice as the one you made. I think they were used in Ford trucks from 1948-66. There are lots of old trucks up here in North Dakota and I grab these when I find them.
