First of all I have already done a lot of " search" and I still have a few questions I would like to ask. What I have is a early F100 steering column. It has the turn signal switch built into it and only has 3 wires, so what years would that be? I want to have brake light and turns share the same element, I dont want to use diodes or relays or converters. I found a 5 wire repo switch on ebay item # 270404908387 61-62 f100 for $48.95. At NPD which is 2 miles from my house I found a switch 61-62 # F-13341-3 for $39.95, they dont know how many wire it has? I know some have 5 wire and some have 7 wires, could someone explain he difference?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks nick c

Most all turn signal switch', Including brakes, have 6 wires.
1 each for 4 turn signals, 1 for turn flasher and 1 from brake switch. total 6 wires
If you have hazard you now have 7. 61 & 62 ford car diagram's show 6.
That said I have a diagram of a Ford 3 wire and a Ford 5 wire connector
both are shown as dimmer switch plugs on FOMOCO Steering column diagram.
